we will advertise and support whatever we can, hence this page.

and a network of local groups. We've been told they have
a strong conservative evangelical tradition.

Christian Travel
|
 This
is a Bristol based travel agency who also work with CFF
(Christian Friendship Fellowship). They arrange group
and individual travel to destinations including Israel,
Jordan, Egypt, Armenia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria,
Greece, Malta, Turkey, the Baltics, Russia, Ukraine, South
Africa & China. All holidays are accompanied by a
Christian leader.
Their general holiday Vacancy List is available online.
There are two holidays in 2008 specifically for singles,
one to Malta (pictured) in the spring and one to the Black
Forest from 5-12 October.

National Singles Agencies with weekends away
Network Christians, the largest UK Christian singles organisation is going from strength to strength. This year they increased their events by a third and in 2009 they intend to do the same again. So if you are interested in meeting other like-minded people on a day event, weekend break or holiday take a look at their events page. Susan Ashman, who runs Network Christians and is single herself, has written an article (click here to read) with very positive views of being single and Christian. This was published on the website for Christian women, Woman Alive.

running K2 I've been amazed at the number of local singles groups
around the UK, that I've been told about. Here are a few that
run weekends away and/or holidays.

25 Plus is made up of 25 Plus Manchester, which holds
events most weekends for single Christians in the North-West,
and 25 Plus Special Events which runs bigger events such
as Weekends Away and Black Tie Balls that are open to
people from all over the country.

for Single Parents
Care
for the Family run events and weekends away for single
and widowed parents. It is fantastic that they specifically
support single parents in this way. You can subscribe to a free
quarterly newsletter with articles, practical ideas, and details
of resources to equip you as you parent on your own.
They also run Take
a Break 2007 , a series of weekend activity breaks for single
parent families. They are across the country and begin on 14th
July and run through to 1st September, (although, as at 19th
May, they are all showing as fully booked).
Baptist
Caravan Fellowship run family orientated holidays,
which may be of interest to single parents. Caravaning and camping
can be great fun for kids and give parents some well deserved
freedom.
Campaign
We would like to promote and campaign for holidays for single
Christians so if you are keen on joining us in doing this please e-mail us.
New Wine / Spring Harvest
What about camping & accommodation areas at Spring
Harvest and New
Wine set aside for singles - they set them aside for families
so why not? We can encourage these holidays to do more for singles
on site. For instance New Wine run speed dating and have a great
pub area, which is excellent for singles.
We need to tell them that these are great ideas and please
can they continue. You will find that many of the leadership
teams are couples at these events so we need to be vocal about
singles issues, and encourage them when they do well. So send
