The strength of K2 has to be the publicity. If we can link up single Christians throughout the local area from all denominations then we’ve achieved something that can’t be achieved alone — and our value should come from that — getting people together who wouldn’t normally get the opportunity. It’d be great to create a fantastic Christian singles scene in Bristol and Bath that people love to be a part of.
"There are approximately 150 churches in Bristol and 50 in Bath"
So, one thing we do, is to email out to as many churches as we can and hope that they will advertise for us, but we need to work on our links with the churches. This is something Kathy intends to spend time on, but it's a big job with over 150 Churches in Bristol and approx. 50 in Bath. She’d love a little bit of help if you’re free during the day, and don’t mind using the phone (email us).
Starting in July 2007, a monthly newsletter has been emailed to all those on our mailing list. If you would like to receive a copy please email us. Many thanks to Paul for producing this.
For outdoor events we now have a banner (left) that we put up so that we can find each other when we're meeting together.
We have now produced some K2 Kards, like business cards, that can be handed out to friends and at events. They make it a whole lot easier to spread the word.
Thanks to Julian who has done a fantastic job of designing these cards for us. Here is what the main card looks like and we’ve got others for Klub 100 and the Dinner Klub.
Here is our poster which is available at the main K2 events for people to take for their churches.
Thanks to Carolyn Carter for designing such a great poster.
